Recruitment and Selection Strategies Recommendations
In this scenario, I have been given the opportunity to work with a small business, Landslide Limousine. Bradley Stonefield is our client whom we must recommend recruitment and selection strategies for his business. Landslide Limousine is a small business with approximately 25 employees that are located in Austin, Texas. When making these recommendations, I must considered that the annual revenue for our client for the first year is expected to be $50,000; however that is expected to increase by %5. The client is also expecting and annual turnover rate of %10. Considering this information, I will make several recommendations that will aid in the success of this company. The first set of recommendations will make will pertain to the business’s organizational goal and forecasted demographical changes that may occur. Based on my recommendations, I will make an analysis of projected workforce needs for the next five years based on organizational goals as well as demographic changes. Next I will make some objective recommendation for workforce diversity and company branding.   Then I will create a series of recommendations that I have researched in the past for a previous client for recruiting and screening potential candidates. This will include methods for interviewing, testing procedures and method that should be considered for the interview process. These methods will help in the selection of candidates.
