2.2 Importance of promoting appropriate behaviour and respect for others.
RESPECINTING OTHERS.
  I believe that giving respect is just as important as recieving respect! Also, i feel respect means realizing how you or I recieve others. For example, by showing kindness, support and no use of any rude or abusive behaviour, physical or verbal which could result in lowering a learners confidence, self esteem and feeling of ability:                              
  Using this in teaching, I feel that whilst teaching / tutoring, myself or anyone else in this role need to act as role models. Not only to sustain a level of professionalism, but also to act as an example. I think that this helps to create a good teacher/student relationship whilst gaining the trust of a student.
  I believe in a saying that many has heard 'treat others how you wish to be treated'. I feel this is crucial in any teaching enviroment! As learners have many different life skills, experience , home issues or learning abilities we need to take into account for any successful learning to be achieved!
GROUND RULES.
  After being a learner myself, I now realise how important these are. To set ground rules you are encouraging a more comfortable, happier learning enviroment which is needed for the productivity of learning:                                                                                                                                
  I believe that learners, mainly adults, are more likely to feel uncomfortable if they are TOLD the ground rules. However, by creating the rules themselves as a group, it not only encourages but helps everyone to enforce and respect the rules and each other. These help learners to think of how they're behaving and how they feel others should possibly behave, speak and treat others whilst in the classroom enviroment.
