Module 9 and 10 Reflection Journal

Module 9: Critical Vehicle Systems

1. Which mechanical part or feature listed in Module 9 do you think is most important?
I think that the seat belt is the most important feature listed in Module 9.
2. Why is that particular part or feature so important?
The seat belt is what saves me when either I make a mistake or another driver makes a mistake. It holds me in place and keeps me from flying out of the car.

3. How do you benefit from that part or feature?
If I were to come close to a car crash or instantly be in a car crash I know that the seat belt would keep me from being thrown out of the car.

1. I will most definitely NOT drink and drive!
2.I love my cellphone but texting and talking on it is irrelevant once I get behind the wheel of the car. I will not text and drive.
3.Lastly, I will not try and show off while driving. I can not only injure myself but the people around me or inside the car with me.

Explain why you will not do these things when driving.
1. I will not do any of these things while I am driving because I love life and I don't want to be the reason someone else loses there own life. I value peace and I know if I caused anything bad upon myself, or any one else. I wouldn't be at peace and neither would their family or my own family. A car is a machine that needs to be controlled. However, doing any of the things listed above would not put me in control and it would make me a horrible driver.

Starts: Using the information learned in this course, explain three things you will do when driving.
1.I will be cautious of road signs.
2.Secondly, I will drive the proper speed limit.
