“THE BELL TREE”
Strengths:

Built next to a premier inn so should in theory service all hotel guests with their meal needs from breakfast to dinner.
Product: great selection of lagers, wines and spirits as well as selection of cask ales
Value   lunch menu with £5 offer as well as specials and main menu (separate Sunday roast menu and children’s menu)
Regular weekly food offer such as grill night ( known as steak and wine night)
                                                              Child tolerant
Large car park
Chef and Brewer name and reputation being backed by Spirit group (one of the largest hospitality retailers in th UK)
Slight zoning inside showing a clear restaurant and pub area although you can comfortably eat or drink in any area.
Wi fi
Open for breakfast
Specials board
Outside seating area and smoking solution
Beer garden
Weakness:
Position;
Although well positioned it means unit is really a destination venue and in no way a local
Reliant on Premier inn for breakfast trade and some evening meals
Standards;
Outside smoking solution and beer garden could do with a little more effort, the beer garden had dirty glasses on the tables the whole time I was there?(over an hour) also could do with some more flowers /bushes   to improve initial impression.
Internal the table I was sat at was sticky as were the salt pepper and vinegar
Blackboards in the toilets while not against advertising in the toilet I am not sure pushing food items from the loo is in keeping with the brand.
Torn damaged A4 posters stuck on toilet walls and entry doors are unprofessional and not giving off a good impression.
Beer garden at the back of pub could do with a tidy and the grass cut.
There were two blown bulbs in the area that I sat.
