Re: Retail Store Operations and Modification
Message:
With gas pricing rising and the difficult economic challenges we face in today’s society Roses Retail would like to inform you of upcoming policy changes.   These changes will be geared to you by preserving your positions and work hours allowing each employee to save time and money, while making sure the company lives up to our service level of supplying each customer with outstanding customer service, great rates, and great products.
Beginning on December 1, 2011, Roses Retail will be adjusting the store’s work operating.   The store will no longer open on Sundays, and the hours during the week will be reduced.   Monday through Saturday the stores will now open one hour later and will close one hour earlier.   With the new store hours comes adjusting employees shifts; your workday will now be adjusted to 10 hours.   To make this transition work, full time employees will work an overall of four 10 hour shifts and the part time workers will now work up to three days a week.
The new policy changes to Roses Retail will allow the company to remain open during this difficult economical time, while also allowing employees to continue with their jobs. We are working hard to make sure that our existing employees minimally impacted and this new policy change will prevent the company from any layoffs.   If anyone has any questions, please contact the HR at 1-800-555-5555.
