Beresin, E. V. (2010). The Impact of Media Violence on Children and Adolescents: Opportunities for Clinical Interventions. Retreived from http://aacap.org.

This is a good credible source, which speaks on different studies and statistics to describe the impact of media violence.   Beresin, Eugene (2010) is using evidence to support his claims; however, the article does not tell us if the author conducted the research, nor does it tells us who conducted the studies listed within the article.   Beresin, Eugene (2010) is giving us a brief review of the impact of media violence on children and adolescents.   This source is also unique because it highlights the importance of physicians speaking openly to parents about the impact of media violence and chidren, which would be a great way to make parents and schools media literate.

Beresin, Eugene (2010) is qualified to interpret and explain the complexities of the impact of media violence on children and adolescents, which builds credibiity for this particular source.   Not only is the author a doctor, he is also a Professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School, and the director of Child Adolescent Psychiatry Residency Training Program at Massachusett General Hospital.   The author does not make any claims without using evidence to support it.   Beresin, Eugene (2010) is also affiliated with the organization that is related to the subject of this article, which is the American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry.
