The Immorality of Abortion

When the topic abortion comes up, it is not typically something people like to discuss. We may avoid this issue because we do not want to offend or upset anyone, but the horrors of this subject are too extreme to be ignored. Terminating a pregnancy after conception is considered abortion. There are currently 3,700 abortions every day in the United States. This unethical practice should be outlawed because of moral issues, political matters, and its negative impact on society. Exodus 20:13 states: “Thou shall not kill.” However you interpret murder, it comes across plain and simple: we are a nation built upon Christian principles, and abortion is immoral.
