My learning cycling lesson
The first time I rode on a bicycle it was when I was 12 years old. Maybe all of you did not believe but it’s the truth. My primary school was very far from my house so everyday my father took me to school on his motorbike. And of course, that the reason why while my friends started riding bike to school since they was 9, I still had no idea about how to ride a bicycle.
The summer between the grade 5 and 6, I was changed to secondary school and this time, unfortunately, it was only 2km from the school to my house. So my task right now was learning riding cycle in only 1 month. I must confess the fact that I hate this thing very much. Riding bike it means that I had to go to school earlier by my self – it was beyond a kid’s ability like me. Beside that my bike was too old and ugly – it used to belong to my mother, if I had a new bike maybe I would have had more interests in learning.
1 week passed, no one in my family talked about that accident until my aunt asked me: “Why don’t you continue learning cycling?”. “I won’t because it too difficult” I affirmed without hesitation. She smiled and looked at me: “Why not? It just a pity if you don’t know how to ride a bike. Maybe it will be difficult but only in the first time. The most important thing is that you have to believe in yourself, believe that you will get over it. And then once day, you can feel the miracle of riding only on 2 wheels. It must be so fantastic! “. I had thought about it hard and decided to learn again. I should give myself a chance and try because I believe that I could success. Finally, I did. There wasn’t no words could describe my feeling: happy, surprised, and proud…. Suddenly I just remembered about my aunt’s sentence: “just believe in yourself” and I knew that I had learn more than one thing.
_There can be miracles, when you believe
Though hope is frail, it's hard to kill
Who knows what miracles you can achieve
When you believe, somehow you will...
