    * Outline the PLOT of the film you have chosen.Batman raises the stakes in his war on crime. With the help of Lieutenant Jim Gordon and District Attorney Harvey Dent, Batman sets out to dismantle the remaining criminal organizations that plague the city streets. The partnership proves to be effective, but they soon find themselves prey to a reign of chaos unleashed by a rising criminal mastermind known to the terrified citizens of Gotham as The Joker. The plot of The Dark Knight is the battle between good and evil, The battle between right and wrong. Batman overcomes a psychopath named The Joker, who toyed with him and destroyed his reputation as Gotham’s redeemer of justice. Batman describes himself in the end seen as a ‘what ever Gotham needs me to be’. |
    * Identify how the film portrays GOOD. (Consider lighting, music, characters).The white light of the Bat symbol is a representation of the good involved in the darkness of Batman himself, Batman (The Dark Knight) is a dark knight evidently because of his continual struggle to find peace among himself, Batman and the people of Gotham.   Batman wears Dark colours, dark colours in Biblical terms is someone of troubled or evil background, Batman overcomes this by saving Gotham and capturing The Joker. |
    * Identify how the film portrays EVIL. (Consider lighting, music, characters).The Joker wears make up which means he’s hiding something, later in the film we find out that he wears make up to hide the scars. His father when he was young said he needed to smile more, so he took a knife and carved a smile in his cheeks. |
