ABSTRACT

In the first half of the 20th century women had their presence felt as a citizen. In the second half, they made an impressive entrance in world of education and skilled labor. The 21th century seems to be the one in which they not only consolidated their presence but this century will allow them to exercise considerable power and longer facilitation to conquest any other area that until now was totally or partially closed. The closed space was largely the business area, an area which although not quite closed, however, and it was considered not appropriate for presence of women. There was no concept of recognizing the success as women entrepreneur. Therefore at this time, which is beginning of the 21st century, it is necessary to make some estimates on the milestone reached by women of two prominent countries Saudi Arabia and Malaysia. The resulting feeling is gimmicky and excitement at the same time from the quantitative data analysis, but also skepticism is present regarding the conditions under which the women are facing these challenges. The presence of women in business today is quite important, but not well known. In the last two decades, Malaysian women have begun to occupy the upper echelons of business as senior executives and independent professionals, in comparison Saudi women have started to take part in business activities.
