Understanding partnership working within the context of services for children and young             people.
        1-1.1 Explain why working in partnership with others is important to children and young people.

Working in partnership is important for children and young people because its important for parents and carers to work together and are able to communicate so the childs development is getting the best possible care and their needs are met to the best of the carer and parents ability, and to keep the consistency of care for the child.
Children and young people will feel more safe, secure and settled if adults are working together, and it will help them develop social skills and help be around other children or young people and work and play alongside them in a friendly manor.

      1-1 Identify who relevant partners would be in own work setting.

Relevant partners in my work setting would be the manager and deputy manager of St Marys day nursery (Sylvie Ellier-Bouge   and Claire Brasier) Also our SENCO (special educational needs co-ordinator ) (Shona Parker and Sylvie Ellier-Bogue) I can also find hel p when its needed in Room Leader’s (Shona Parker and Richard Ambrosini )Or other members of staff in and out of the room where Im based.
1.3   Define the characteristics of effective partnership working.

        A partnership can be formed between co-workers because they have things common as they  
        work together or work in the setting together.   They are often formed when working together
        and the strength of the partnership grows as more often than not the partnership forms into a
        friendship and working with friends makes a happy and enjoyable place to work.
