It's a Full Moon Tonight

Grease is a musical set in the 50's about some California teenagers who are all in love and aren’t necessarily the kind of kids you'd what your children to be hanging around. The film starts off with Danny Zuko and Sandy Olsson spending time on the beach in the summer time and love is in the air, but not for long because the summer ends. Cut scenes to Rydell High School, where Danny is care free smoking ciggs on school campus (isn’t he lucky he didn’t get suspended!) He is the leader of a group of greasers called the T-Birds, but let's not forget about Sandy who hangs with the Pink Ladies, a group of galls who wear all pink lead by the character known as Rizzo. Here's the catch in this situation though, neither Danny or Sandy know that they go to the same high school… until Rydell's first pep rally where they run into each other and Sandy finds that Danny isn’t the same sweet, sensitive, dreamy guy he was on the beach. Throughout the film there are scenes where these groups of teenagers drink underage, and make out, and moon people and drag race and have rumbles and bad things of that nature. It then ends with a scene where the group of teens are all in a fair and Lucy and Danny fly into the air in a car. That was the coolest part.   I thought that the plot was pretty good but typical for the time the movie was made. I feel like I keep seeing movies from the late 70's/early 80's where the plot just kind of goes with the flow, like you're getting a glimpse into the day in life with the characters in the movie. Like most films I see there's a definite plot but in this movie they just do a bunch of random things, it's good but somewhat typical for the time being.
The acting in the movie was pretty good, I mean come on, John Travolta was in it. As far as character development goes, I want to focus attention on Danny and Lucy. So in the beginning they're all in love and I'm watching it like "awh, cute-- Couples on the beach." But then when the actual high school scene...
