Introduction
Healing hospitals are comprised of three components which form their basis in giving health services, these constituent includes; loving care from cultural perspective, the physical environment surrounding the healthcare and facilitate healing, and technology and work design. Therefore the healing hospital uses the philosophy of incorporating the physical body with the mind and the spirit of an individual so as to ensure that they provide the patient with the best healthcare possible. With this integration, healing seems to take lesser time since every human aspect has to be considered, on the other hand different individuals has different beliefs and   practices thus as a nurse I will have hard times to give care to patients whose beliefs am not familiar with. Likewise, patient would feel betrayed if they are not give care as to their desires and will.
Components of Healing Hospital and their relationship to spirituality
The physical environment of healing hospital should provide care to the body, spirit and mind, which begins with providing the right culture. The healthcare providers should have beliefs of compassion towards their patient, ready to serve them with a good will attitude, in additional to taking action that will enable him or her meet the patient’s spiritual and emotional needs. Moreover, the facilities are designed in way that they take into consideration all the three constituents of an individual. It should be easily accessible promote wellness, privacy and protection of the individual’s information completely. As health care system advances with time, it is important to sandwich technology in it. To be better placed, it should enhance on a better access of education to the clients, delivery of service to be made timely which will enable quick treatment, with this there is enough time to be used in addressing emotional and spiritual needs...
