Nothing is permanent in this world except His Words
Ever wonder what your future holds? According to the book I have read, experts say that in 20 years we won’t write our signatures on legal documents, instead we will be known for our iris print, fingerprint, or voice pattern. How Tdo you find this prediction? Exciting? Anticipating? Or terrifying? Here’s another one, they also say that we won’t be visiting anymore any video, record, or software stores. We’ll just be ordering what we want through an earpiece and microphone inside our wrist watches. Very hi-tech! Isn’t it? How about this one? Diabetics will say goodbye to insulin, as doctors will implant healthy islets of cells into the pancreas. Plastic wrap will also be replaced by a bioplastic made from cornstarch. There are many predictions being told by experts, actually, year by year. Anyway, pencil, paper, money, basketball, books, and others will still be part of our lives. Eventually, traffic congestion, noise, poverty, crimes, death, climate change, and all the temptations will still be here too since the Father of Lies is still having the world in control. But here’s another guarantee I can give you that is 100% real and unchanging in and out of the planet earth: God’s word will still be true! As what He said in Matthew 24:35, “Heaven and Earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away”. As sure as the answer in an objective type of test, at the end of the world, everything will perish, all the things that can be seen, including your mansion, your luxurious car, your signature clothes, even your profession, your power and fame, worse, your friends and family. All the latter will pass away at the time God planned it. The future can be very scary with all the changes that will take place, but knowing God and His Word doesn’t change, makes me feel safer.
