Social change is defined as the basic structures within a group or society.   The change of social structure, behavior, or cultures is set to define social change.   There are many examples they came be described with social movements that are from the past as well as currently going on. One example is the Ku Klux Klan, as how the organization started to where it has become now. It started with white individual gathering others to join against the colored individuals. It has grown a major amount since it started and become an organization as a terrorist against colors leading to many crimes towards others. Propaganda is another example as it plays a major part in many lives with an attempt to influence others. Propaganda has extended pass the words and disrespectful name calling we believe to be improper. Today it has extended into more than just the use of words, but also includes transfers, testimonials, and action leading to violence. Education is another example of social movement, as keeping supporters and participants informed and involved about issues as well as the spread of the word to the public. A major example of the U.S. civil rights movements where the U.S. had a struggle to provide equal rights to colored citizens as white citizens has. The discrimination challenge was a long struggle to overcome as today we are now as expanded variety of people.
