Childhood Obesity

Is childhood obesity becoming a big problem in the United States? Yes childhood obesity is becoming a big problem in the United States it is taking over lots of children and adult lives. Obesity has been around nearly as long as man isn’t much of a stretch. Obesity in                   children has become a real problem in America. Childhood obesity is a medical condition that affects millions of children in the United States (Kiesbye, 2009). The children are eating more and more every day, but they are not exercising. The parents are encouraged to show their children how to eat, and what would be healthier to eat. They can also show them how to get their physical activities in their daily routine. Obesity affects their self-esteem to where they do not want to be around other people. Some are picked on really bad to the point they take their own lives. With obesity taking over the children lives more, they are more prone to more health problems. High blood pressure and Type 2 diabetes are; forming more in children. According to the Centers for Disease Control, people who are obese in childhood or adolescence are more likely to be obese as adults.
If you feel that obesity is taking over the young children lives what do you think should be done to help it? Parents have to start cutting their children intake of fast food, and greasy foods out of their children diet. Parents can help their children avoid the intake of unhealthy foods by making well balance meals and healthy snacks. Eating smaller or reasonably-sized portions can help with this obesity problem. Parents are the ones that are responsible for what their children eat on a daily base and how much they eat.
