Capital Letters (ABC…)
You use CAPITAL LETTERS at the beginning of a
name, date or place. You also use a CAPITAL LETTER
at the beginning of a sentence or speech.
For example,
Sally went to Fareham on Saturday.

Full Stops (.)
You use a full stop at the end of a sentence.

Question Marks (?)
You use a question mark at the end of a sentence. It
is used instead of a full stop.

For example,
I love eating chocolate ice-cream.

Example,
How are you feeling today?

Speech Marks (“”)
Speech marks are used to show what someone is
saying or what they have said. They go at the
beginning and end of the speech.
For example,
“I told you not to do that!” said the teacher.
