Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (Secondary) Tda 3:1

TDA 3:1- Communication and professional relationships with children, young people and adults

1:1- We are more likely to communicate with each other if we have positive relationships to children, young people and adults we have to consider how to approach students. We have to check what we say especially in moments of stress or excitement. We also have to remember if we ask pupils to behave in an appropriate way for school then we also have to behave in the same way.
1:2- If students are comfortable in our company they are more likely to communicate effectively with us. We have to build relationships with the students and work on developing them.
