Introduction
The paper attempts to describe the key issues faced by Google Inc. which have been discussed in the case along with the situation analysis which highlights the internal and external assessment of the company. The paper also attempts to implement the SWOT analysis framework and describes financial ratios to measure the performance of the company. Furthermore, the paper describes strategic alternatives that could be applied to address the problems identified. Google Inc. have launched many diverse products and services after its Initial Public Offering (IPO) which has accounted for the increase in competition in the industry. These diverse products and services have left the company in a state of paradox and is finding ways to take an initiative which is currently aligned with the company’s objectives.
