As technology is advancing, so is the world of business communication. In days of old, business people wrote "letters" to their clients. Face-to-face meetings were held, often ending with a handshake. In today’s world of business communication has a much different face. Devices such as I phones, blackberries, personal digital assistants (PDAs), and teleconferences are meant to increase productivity and means of communicating with customers. Business communications play a major role in a corporation's day-to-day activities such as checking emails and corresponding to any important messages. Research may be required for customer inquiries that need additional information. Companies are assimilating information to their customers increasingly by referring them to company websites, where all pertinent company data can be found in one location. Today in the business world communication is one of the most important factors in determining if a business is going to be successful or not.   Good communication information must be shared among all co-workers.   If the communication is not shared among all the co-workers, then that is when the company infrastructure starts to fail.
The way in which business communication helps manage daily work activities is by effectively promoting change within my workplace. There are always new products and services being constructed to make the customer more eager to buy. Customers use business communication to tell our marketing group what it is they need as well as what they want. This produces job stability for many people in this business. Many of the departments in which employee’s work have communication among themselves all while respecting the business and its daily planning.
