Willy Wonka

While examining Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory starring Gene Wilder, and the remake Charlie and the Chocolate factory starring Johny Depp there seems to be many similarities and   few differences. due to bad marketing the origional did not due so well. while on the other hand the remake was a total success. Both story lines are basically the same following the format of the book. Although the origional did not do so well they both had phenomenal acting.
The orgional Wonka movie earned about four million. Back then that was the equivlent to about 17.4 million. Ultimately the movie was a failure Even though the film received positive reviews from critics sand Wilder would later earn a Golden Globe nomination for his performance, Dahl the origional writer of the book was displeased with the final product and refused to sell the rights to the sequel. Finaly after gaing the rights of the remake from dahls widow the remake finally went under way. The movie turned out to be a huge success grossing a total of just under 500 million world-wide. It is fifty-eigth highest grossing film of all time.
The plot in both movies are basically the same the film starts with a poor boy Charlie living with his family. The family, along with the rest of the world, learns that the candy maker Willy Wonka has hidden five Golden Tickets amongst his Wonka Bars. The finders of these special tickets will be given a full tour of his world-renowned but tightly-guarded candy factory, as well as a lifetime supply of chocolate. With no luck yet Charlie finds a silver dollar   and buys a wonka bar containg the last authentic golden ticket. A man named author slugworth approaches him a rival confectioner who wanted to steal the recipe of the gobstoppers,but Charlie being good hearted refused. His grandfather so excited decides to join him as his chaperone. At the end of their odd encounters will realizing that charlie is the best candidate gives the candy empire to charlie .
