1.1 Explain how a working relationship is different from a personal relationship
A working relationship is different from a personal relationship in a lot of ways in a working
Relationship we are accountable for what we do and must follow policies and procedures set out by the local authority and my employer. Where as in a personal relationship you would feel different about the person in question e.g. when we first see a client at the beginning of our shift we will say hi to great them where as in a personal relationship you may great the person with a hug. If I did start a personal relationship at work this could cause conflict and favoritism, this could also affect the way we work together and the level of care given to clients

      1.2 Describe different working relationships in Health and Social Care settings
They are many different working relationships in health and social care settings e.g the relationship between you and your work colleague would be different from the relationship with a client, although you should have a strong bond with all clients and work colleagues. You may become good friend with colleagues but cannot become friends with a client, due to keeping your personal life separate, if you were able to become friends with clients this could also affect the level of care given to them compared to other clients. We must not mix our personal lives into our working lives

2.1 Describe why it is important to adhere to the agreed scope of the job role
It is important to adhere to the agreed scope of the job role because it tells you how the job should be done following the correct policies and procedures of my work place and can also be the law. Following the correct agreed scope will also ensure that person centred care and support is achieved.
