SERVICE | DESCRIPTION |
Splashability | It is exclusive swimming for all disabled children and young people. It offers a minimum of an hour public swim to disabled children, families and young people at weekends.Targeted and specialist, predominantly targeted service. |
One Point | This service brings staff and the local authority together with the NHS. This is to provide a variability of support and advice for free to young adults, children and their families in Durham.Targeted service. |
Family Fund | This service provides helps families who are raising disabled or seriously ill children and young people. This service helps ease the additional pressures families face when going through this. Targeted service. |
CRY –Cardiac Risk in the Young | This service develops and promotes heart screening programmes and funds a lot of research. CRY supports young people diagnosed with possibly life threatening cardiac conditions and bereavement support to families affected by YSCD. Targeted/specialist service. |
Time 4 U | This service is an arts and activities service which offer informal learning opportunities for adults through social and recreational activities. Targeted service. |
Durham County Council Fostering & Adoption | This service provides duties to appropriate families looking to adopt/foster children from or in the Durham location. Targeted service. |
