Confidentiality Policy-
All paid and voluntary workers are expected to stand by this policy. Any clients using our service will have the relevant to the aspects of the confidentiality policy that they have been aware of. Clients will have to sign the confidentiality form because it sets out the limits to their own confidentiality. Purpose of this procedure is to give the guidelines on confidentiality and the circumstances where it may be necessary and the procedures for doing so.

Child protection-
The child protection policy will apply in cases where it is possible to involve the non-abusing parents in addressing concerns around their children welfares.

Men's Confidentiality-
Information that are involved for men in contact with this organisation will be treated as confidential but no information which could lead to men or their partners or ex-partners being noticed shall be disclosed to anyone outside the organisation itself.

Confidentiality between Clients-
The organisation cannot guarantee that other clients will maintain each other’s confidentiality but they would take every reasonable step to make sure that they do.   When clients meet each other in group settings the issue of confidentiality will be made into a discussion with them and the clients will be asked to maintain each other’s confidentiality as well as their own. In particular women will be asked not to give information to their ex partners about other women in the workplace.
