Disability discrimination act 1995
Makes sure the rights of people with a disability are protected . It also makes sure that a school or organization   don’t have any barriers so that equal access to services is given to all individuals.
Disability Act 2005
Makes sure that schools have a responsibility to have a disability equality scheme and access plan .
Special Educational needs and Disability Act 2001
This act makes it illegal for students with special educational needs or a disability to be discriminated against   by educational provider’s .
Race relations Act 200
Sets out the duty of organizations to actively encourage good relationships between people from different races.
Human Rights Act 1998
Outlines the rights of all individuals and gives them the power to take action against the authorities if their rights have been affected.
Child Act 1989
Out lines the duty   local organizations and schools have to make sure the services ;they provide are catered to the needs of children and ensure their safety and welfare .

Child Act 2004
Outlines the duty to provide services that are effective and accessible for all children and supports the five Every Child Matters outcomes .
Education Act 1996
Outlines the responsibilities schools have to towards children with special educational needs. And that schools also provide pupils with additional resources , equipment   or any additional support to meet their needs .
Equality Act 2010
Outlines the legal responsibilities of public bodies and schools to provide equal opportunities for all citizens , which brings together nine equality laws .
