The Relationship Between Humans and Animals

Imagine there is a locked room where a person, a tiger and a rabbit are. What will happen? Without doubt, the tiger is forced to eat the rabbit to live; the person is forced to fight with the tiger for survival. This is the most basic relationship between animal and animal and between human and animal, based on the rule of the jungle. As we all know, even with much stronger ability of thinking, with high IQ, people are still almost the same with animals-- I mean physically. However, with the development of the species through evolution, people are possessed of a much stronger power which is the advanced technology than animals are, hence the relationship has changed. Besides eating animals as food, people now have the ability to control animals, and to train them, as assistances, e.g. guide dogs. What is more, some of people gradually have affection to animals that they treat animals well as pets, and hope their pets keep them company. However, there is another relationship:   animals are abused or killed for no reason, for example as, people beat animals as cruelly as they want just to relieve negative feelings.
Animals are killed by people for their fur and feathers, for food, for sport, and simply because they were in the way. As a result of tremendous indiscriminate killing of animals which happens frequently, according to the analysis, species perish at the speed one kind of animals dying per hour on the Earth. Actually, animals are more than just a source of food. Every animal has its place in the balance of nature. Destroying one kind of animal can create many problems. For instance, if flies become one day extinct, and the number of the creature who eats it, assuming to be birds, will sharply decrease because of no food to eat and similarly the creature who hunts for bird will gradually extinct as well and so on.
