Describe the key elements of the “Hajj”.

The meaning of "Hajj" is "to set out with definite purpose". This "definite purpose" is to achieve their duty to God. The precise route whilst setting out on the Hajj has been completed as written in the Qur'an for centuries before. It is required that it is to be completed exactly as recorded.

The majority of people know, the starting point of the Hajj, the fifth Pillar of Islam, dates back to the Prophet Ibrahim and brings together as one Muslims of each and every race. Each year millions of people put together the pilgrimage, making it the largest momentary gathering on the globe. It is an act of remembrance and worship, but also a symbolic proceeding representing the spirit's return to its homeland, one of the vital elements of the Muslim life. Hajj is a crucial duty for all Muslims physically and financially able to perform it. This statement is shown in the following extract from the Qur’an.
In it are Signs Manifest; for example, the Station of Abraham; whoever enters it attains security; Pilgrimage there to is a duty men owe to Allah,- those who can afford the journey; but if any deny faith, Allah stands not in need of any of His creatures
Numerous amounts of people go to Hajj every year lacking knowledge of the restrictions, duties, and virtues of many actions they perform in the Hajj season. It is extremely critical and important that the person who wants to perform Hajj should gain knowledge of the basics of this act of worship including the compulsory actions and what should be done in case there is a chance to give back for mistakes.
It engages a physical, spiritual and mental journey from a Muslim’s home to the Ka’ba (a place of worship) in Mecca.
