Developing a good working relationship is vital for the smooth running of any business, when you are working with your colleagues these could be the carer’s or other nurses in your place of work or District nurses, opticians, podiatrists that may be coming into your work place. always remember that you are part of a team (as the saying goes there is no I in team) and everyone is an important member.                                                                                                               When you work alongside your staff, these could be the care’s and do the same tasks you are developing a good working relationship, proving that you are approachable and understanding of the work load and responsibilities.                       while working with your colleagues. As the team leader it is a good way of developing a good working relationship with other professionals for yourself and the team, showing a desire to help each member to develop and use their skills, if the team feel they can talk to you and come to you with any problems that may arise, knowing that you will handle them in a professional way, this helps develop the good working professional relationship. Good effective communication is necessary on all levels, to identify understanding of your communication and ability to communicate and represent the team’s interests; it is good practice to ask open questions giving all your colleagues carers and nurses an opportunity to respond, or to ask again if some are not clear on the question, helping to develop effective communication and understanding between everyone, this also enables you to recognise any signs of conflict that may arise, the sooner you see the signs, the sooner you can intervene and resolve the problem or conflict.
