Children can develop alot of skills, their development is mainly interconnected when they are doing different activities, this helps them learn a new skill each time an activity is taken. When a child is playing hopscotch they gain physical development because they learn how to hop, skip, jump and throw. They   gain social development from socialising with the other children while playing hop scotch, a child would gain intellectual development as they are using numbers which involves maths. A child would gain emotional with coping with loss or the excitement of winning, and would gain language from talking and communicating with the other children playing.

Social.
if a child's social skills were late to develop they would not know how to share things, they wouldnt communicate with others which could lead to the child having no friends, as they wouldn't know how to make friends. This may make a child feel iscolated. A child whos social skills are late to develop would not understand the meaning of yes or no, this could cause problems in school as they would not listen to what they are being told or asked to do.

Physical.
If a child's physical skills were late to develop they would not know how to walk or run, this means that they would find it hard to join in activities with the other children, this may make a child feel iscolated, as they may feel as if they are less capable than the other children. If a child was disabled this means that they would not be able to join in with the physical activities as they would find it extremely hard.

Intellectual.
If a child's intellectual skills were late to develop they would find it hard to learn new things, and this could mean that the child may get bullied as they are not as 'clever' as the other children in the class. A child whos intellectual skills are late to develop may not know how to accept things as they will have found it hard to learn how to agree and disagree, and they will not...
