Scooby Doo

As long as I can remember I have had Scooby Doo everything: blankets, pillows, t-shirts, watches, picture frames, videos, toys, and of course, stuffed animals! Scooby Doo was my idol growing up as a kid. I would watch Scooby and the gang chase bad guys in the Mystery Machine every Saturday morning. I loved trying to figure out how they solved the mysteries and how they always got the bad guys in the end. I still find myself whistling the Scooby Doo theme song every now and then.
I still have all my Scooby Doo stuff from when I was a kid. I don’t play or watch with any of my Scooby Doo things now, but I will probably never get rid of them. Many of my Scooby Doo things I got for special occasions like my birthday or Christmas. A very special friend of mine, who was like an older sister, used to give me Scooby Doo stuff as presents when I was younger. She really liked Scooby Doo too and liked buying things for me. Sometimes we would go shopping at the Warner Brother’s Store in Richmond.
I don’t like throwing things away, so these things will not be going anywhere anytime soon! They may take up a lot of closet space but there are just too many memories attached to them to just throw away. One day I will be able to share with my kids what I liked when I was their age. I’ll probably have just as much fun playing with them then as I did when I was a kid. I’m sure I’ll remember the Scooby Doo theme song too!
