      Service: Exploit the combination of in house against   out sourced services
      Risk Management: Compare IT risk management with industry   risk management
      Business Process: Maximize and design enterprise processes   using IT and also describe and amend IT standards and technologies.
        Enterprise Infrastructure and Applications: Make the   best of cost of services through a combination of internal   and external resources.
    Does every CIO have the same role?
In my opinion even though there are general roles, when it comes to the application of these roles there are differences. Therefore the role of a CIO should be defined by the employer based on the peculiar needs of the organization. This is seen in the table below:
