With the launch of the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus in 2014, we sold 10 million units within three days. The revenue from those sales was $42.1 billion, while the actual profit was $8.5 billion (Lowensohn, 2014). As technology continues to progress, the need for a better phone comes with it. I have spent the past few months reading customer feedback and researching better technology. My team and I have finally began drafting blueprints for the iPhone 7.
The overall design of the iPhone 7 and 7 plus will be similar to that of the iPhone 6 and 6 plus. However, we will be introducing an A10 processor chip, a fan-out package which allows the phone to switch between LTE and other antennas such as GSM and CDMA, improved electromagnetic interference (EMI) shields, and a slightly longer battery life of 7.04 watt-hours (iPhone 7, 2016).
The A10 processor chip, which we have considered a dual-core processor, will allow for sharper visuals, with the help of the True Tone technology included on the latest iPad Pro, as well as faster LTE speeds. Including a fan-out package within the phone that can switch between LTE and other antennas allows for reduced amounts of signal loss. EMI shields prevent interference between other products, and upgrading these shields will allow us to potentially place chips closer together internally in the phone. This could allow for a larger battery as well as a slimmer design (iPhone 7, 2016).

Channel: When introducing the pitch, I would hold a brief meeting with my boss because I can include visuals of the technology being included within the phone. This would allow me to immediately receive feedback that they may have regarding the implementation of technology.
