Nursing

As a nurse I will have the opportunity to affect many individuals.   I will have the chance to go through the ups and downs of patient’s lives mentally and physically.   I will get to be there for people and do whatever I can to make sure they see another day and keep a smile on their face no matter how hard the situation may be.   I want to be the person who makes a difference in someone’s life.

All through high school I always knew I wanted to do something in the medical field but I could never figure out what exactly but around my junior year is when I decided being a pediatric nurse is what God had in store for me.   He really laid it on my heart one day and just told me helping young kids is what I needed to do with my life and I agree with him 100%.   Many people have questioned my choice because of how emotional and heartbreaking kids can be but I know without a doubt this is what I was put here for.

I don’t know why but I have a really strong with kids and always have.   I love being there for others, making them laugh until their stomach hurts, or being a shoulder to cry on when they need it.   I have a very loving and caring heart and I will love my patients and be there for them like no other.   I will fill their sadness with happiness and be their rock through tough times.

Having such a wonderful opportunity placed on my life is so exciting!   I have never felt more passionate or determined about something like this before.   Nursing is not just a profession but it is something I look forward to and am anxious to start.   I cannot wait to start my life as a nurse and help save sweet innocent lives.
