After graduation, I joined Swastik Builders, a construction firm in India as an Assistant Administrator; and was required to co-ordinate between staff, management and directors, assist departmental recruitment, facilitate exchange of information between departments and handle accounts. The rest of the day I helped my uncle who was keen at MULTI-LEVEL MARKETING attending to most of his mails etc. He was actively involved in caring and providing shelter for the mentally challenged and education for street children and I managed to play a significant role therein. Migration to the city and caring for my ailing father who could not be left alone for long periods of time forced me to join a school at my door-step as an Assistant English Teacher and later as Assistant to the Head of the English Dept .I upgraded myself with a Masters in English Literature.

In the U.K. I opted for the first available job at Brantano Footwear Ltd. as a Sales Advisor .This exposed me to replenishing stock on the shop floor, customer service, training and organizing work experience students, answering customer queries and working on the tills. Later joined Boots The Chemists as a Sales Advisor took up some Healthcare Modules scored a Health Care Assistant Certificate. Fascinated by the amount of support special needs receive in the U.K. I   voluntarily gravitated to a mainstream school for six months and later assisted in a special needs school; and equipped myself with a Learning Support Assistant Certificate and a Post -Graduate degree in British Education, Behaviour Management and Special Needs and   managed to get a Post-Graduate Diploma in Management Studies.
