The purpose of this assignment is to conduct a literature review on Drug error. For the purpose of this work I will use articles of Stubbs et al. (2006), Maidment et al. (2007), Dean et al. (2002), Bohomol et al. (2009) and McMullan et al (2009) to look at causes and issues relating to drug errors. Furthermore, the content of this review will include details of the literatures, how the articles were located, the keywords used to locate them, strength and weakness of the five selected articles. This topic has been chosen because it relates to nursing profession and it is important to be aware that medication takes important role in patient’s treatment and in order way   it could cause a severe harm or death if not used appropriately.
