              Should Illegal Immigrants be allowed to stay in the United States?
The United States Constitution requires the federal government to maintain American borders from invasion.   Yet, illegal population continues to rise each year. In 1972, illegal immigrant population had reached one million. Officials now estimate ten to twenty million illegal immigrants in this nation. Law enforcement admits that they have no idea of how many people are sneaking into the country undetected. All the time people hear on the news about illegal aliens and debate over how America should or shouldn’t control the problem. The fact is that people can’t always believe every thing the politicians and activist are saying. Some activists will debate on illegal immigration being, well, illegal. The problem is it’s illegal. Americans are begging Congress, mayors, governors, anyone who will listen, to simply enforce a law to help them out of this mess. Illegal immigrants should be detained and deported for entering the United States illegally, because it puts American’s safety at risk, steals jobs from Americans, and illegal immigration destroys the economy. The problem is that those who come to America to work and those who come to America to kill are using the same way in.
