I Haven't Bitten You for Days...

"I haven't bitten you for days" said the distant voice,   that was when my nightmare began…except it wasn't a mental picture or hallucination like normal, this nightmare was real. Then shortly after I heard the scream of a woman. It sounded like this cry for help was coming from the room next-door to the one I was in. I felt an urgent need to try to help this poor lady, I slowly crept towards the door still using the candle as a guide and shielding it from the breeze, worried that I may be heard I tip toed ever so slowly.
