Gay Marriage

Gay marriage seems to be a hot topic in today’s news. Slowly states are beginning to legalize gay marriage. The latest state to do this was New Jersey just a short few weeks ago. Although our governor said no the judge ruled that gay marriage was a violation of our amendment rights. If they continued to allow no gay marriage it may as well invalidate everything we stand for. I could not agree more. The fact that fourteen out of fifty states allow same sex marriage is insane. Once again the reasons are just outlandish for lack of better words. Some of the reasons included “it turns a moral wrong into a civil right, its not marriage, it offends god, it denies a child of a mother or a father” (10 reasons). How senseless could they possibly be? It is not a real marriage because they aren’t a man and women? I think we need to put those people in their shoes. How would we feel if we were told we could marry the person we love because it is...
