Introduction:
Sports have been a mainstay in millions of people lives for many years. They are there when times are good and allow us to develop a passion for something. Sports ideally teach discipline and commitment. They challenge you and build character for everything you do in life. The purpose of any athletic endeavor is to test human limits both on and off the playing field. It is for that purpose that we annually hold this District Level Athletic Meet, to instill in our pupils the true values of sports and to have them demonstrate a spirit of camaraderie and sportsmanship. For according to Peggy Fleming Jenkins
“The most important thing is to love your sport, never do it to please someone else--it has to be yours. That is all that will justify the hard work needed to achieve success. Compete against yourself, not others, for that is who your best competition truly is."

Please remain standing for the singing of the Philippine National Anthem to be conducted by Mrs. Cecilia De la Peña, coach of VCS Baseball and Softball Teams. This will be followed by the singing our division hymn which will be led by Mrs. Floreza Aquino, coach of VCS Table Tennis Team.
