Many people feel organized religion is important.   People live their lives according to their beliefs on religion.   Organized religions were originated for a good purpose, but it has not always served a good purpose.   When a significant amount of people are persuaded they’re actions can be terrible and good at the same time in the name of God.   At times the leaders of these organized religions will do wrong before they do right.   Their actions are often bad instead of good.   Organized religion has both good and bad effects.   Some examples of their negative benefits are war and hate crimes.   War is a perfect example of organized religion.   Another example is the catholic protestant war in Ireland.   These crusades are reflections of organized religion creating destruction.   Some recent examples are the world trade center and the Iraq war.   These events occurred due to religious beliefs.   Many people believe and live by their own aspects concerning religion in our country, but I also think our government is to blame, because they are the ones painting a picture that is not true.   They act as if this is new when in reality it’s not.   The problem is their beliefs towards religion.   Organized religion is supposed to bring people together as one, but instead it has done the opposite, causing separation, stereotypes, and war.   Another form of organized religion that is affected is hate crimes.   After the attack of September 11, 2001 Muslim and Arab people became targets.   Many people believed it to be patriotic, and that everyone Muslim origin was a terrorist.   In our county today a lot of innocent people are discriminated against from this.   Another example of hate crimes is the KKK.   This group resulted from organized religion.   This group is a structure organized religion; they strongly believe certain things about African Americans.   To start off they believe that African Americans shouldn’t be free...
