During my time as a student nurse I have encountered patients with a variety of different healthcare problems and needs.   Each person has different needs and requires varying levels of care.   With each patient come various problems that may affect the patient’s quality of life.   It is important the nurses identify these problems and work out ways to overcome them and provide patient centred care.   This essay will solely discuss caring for a patient that has had a stroke and the challenges encountered when caring for this person.
