Contingency Theory of Leadership

Description of work environment | A bartender has to be fast-paced, work well under stress, have customer focused at all times and be able to be detail oriented along with multi-task. A big role in the bartending business is having outstanding communication skills, such as being a good listener. Most importantly a bartender needs to be punctual and dependable. These are actually all major strengths of this job description. Prepare drinks, have the work area clean. Sometimes duties require taking orders for food and drinks, collect money, and keep glassware clean. Having money-handling experience is a plus. Being able to stand on your feet for long periods of time and it is important to present yourself in a well groomed manner. Sometimes this job may also require you to work all shifts, and be able to lift at least 20 pounds. |
