United Nations International Children's Emergency Fund (UNICEF) can be define as "child" means below age of 18 and "child labour" as some type of work performed by children below age 18.
According to UNICEF, the child labour consists of 218 million children aged 5 to 17 who performed different work just like a factory work, mining, quarrying, agriculture, helping with the parents business, own small business like a selling foods, small candy shops etc.
Some children work as guides to a tourists sometimes children work in a small business or restaurants as a clerk or a waiters. The problem of child labour is all our the world. Specially those countries who included in poor countries like a Pakistan, India, Brazil, Bangladesh and Nigeria etc.
In Pakistan estimate 40 million children's who aged 5-14 years. According to international labour organization (ILO), there were 3.8 million children out of 40 million having ages between 5-14 are working in Pakistan. 50% of them are having ages 5-9. 73% of them are said to be boys.2.7 million were claimed to be working in the agriculture sector.
The government of Pakistan consults with partners and stakeholders of all our Pakistan to identify the occupations which are dangerous under the provision of international labour organization (ILO). The occupation and categories of work through children are given below:
1. Work underground mines over ground quarries, including blasting and assisting in blasting.
2. Work with exposure to cement dust.
3. Work with exposure to coal dust.
4. Work on class and mental furnaces.
5. Stone crushing.
6. Work in hotel industries in night duties at 10 pm to 8 am.
7. Deep fishing.
8. Carpet waving.
9. Ship breaking.
10. Bangles glass, furnaces.
These points are clear that all works are dangerous and may be many children's are died on a spot due to blasting, deep fishing, and glass cutting work etc.
The present day government is working to stop the child labour....
