Cats and Dogs

There are several similarities that cats and dogs share, but at the same time they are very different. Through the various aspects of each animal, we will look at the similarities and differences between cats and dogs, and see why these animals are so loved.
First, we will talk about the similarities that these two animals have. The most obvious similarities between these two animals are that they both have hair. They are domesticated fluffy animals kept as pets. They require love and affection from their owner.   Both animals are easy to love and with the right affection they become like children.
There are also various differences between the two animals. Cats are loners; they can spend a lot of time alone without getting lonely. They like spending time away from people. Even the sounds they make are different from dogs. Cats also have retractable claws, unlike dogs and are a lot more flexible than dogs.
Dogs need a lot of attention because they are big babies. Dogs are day time animals unlike cats. Another extremely obvious difference is that dogs are usually bigger than cats. Unlike cats, you can train dogs to do tricks such as role over, fetch, and shake hands.
As one can tell there are various similarities and differences between cats and dogs. Some people may like cats more because of how fluffy they are, while others will choose a dog because they can do tricks. So, it really depends on the personality of the person on whether or not a cat or dog suits them.
