Bill of Rights

Bill of Rights
The amendment that is the most important to me is the first amendment which is the right of religion, speech, assembly, and petition. This amendment is the most important to me because having these rights makes me feel like I am living in a country where how I feel and my opinions matter, these rights allow me to be an individual and speak my mind without worrying about my country punishing me for it. It allows me to say what I want to say as long as it does not in a threatening way, and allows me to take action by petitioning if I feel like I do not agree with any situation, as long as it is done and a safe way.
The amendment that is the least important to me is the second one which is having the right to bear arms, this is not important to me because I do not own a gun and I do not wish to own one. I am not the type of person that really likes guns, and feels like I have to have one.
If I was arrested and tried for a crime the amendment that would be the most important to me is the criminal court procedures because it guarantees me a right to a speedy and public trail, this is important because it doesn’t allow the government to keep me in jail for a long time without being tried, and it allows a jury to decide my fate, and punishment in most cases.
