Beastly

“Going to school is exactly the same as being in prison. I should get to stay home because there’s no point in coming when the teachers aren’t going to do anything. Everyone here is like nerdy. All my senior friends all have girls and it sucks when you’re the only one that’s single. ‘”
It’s so difficult to keep average grades and be the star of the varsity football team at the same time. 8 o’clock rolls around and I end up lounging on the couch with a bag of potato chips. Suddenly, I’m unconscious and I wake up under an immense oak tree in the woods.
My head is ringing and my foot is throbbing.
“Where am I?” I barely manage to mutter.
I turn around and see an old abandoned cabin and carefully, I limp into the cabin. The walls were drenched with fresh blood, the doors stained with crevices and the foul smell of rotting corpses filled my nose. Suddenly, an old man unexpectedly whisks out of thin air right in front of my eyes.
“What have we got here? An idiot that fell into my trap?” he cackles.
“Who the heck are you?” I yell.
“I cast a spell on you.” he explains as his grin expands.
I notice my foot was bleeding excessively.
“What did you do to me?” I scream angrily.
“I didn’t do anything. You walked into the woods and stepped on my trap. Although, it wasn’t intended for you, this works too. You shall soon transform into a beast and you won’t be able to turn back after four days.”
“Well, how am I supposed to undo the spell?!” I exclaim.
“You have to find out what you treasure the most before it’s too late. Other than that, there’s nothing I can do about it.” he laughs evilly and disappears into a foggy cloud.
“WHAT IS HAPPENING TO ME?” I scream at the top of my lungs waiting for this old man to return, but he never does.
I run back to my home, heart racing and sweat trickling down my face. I look in the mirror and there’s nothing that seems wrong.
I missed going to school but my dad is making me play at the football game...
