1. Introduction and Context
Hatch End High Scholl works to promote its WE CARE ethos to support an environment where students treat one another and the school staff with respect because they know this is the right way to behave. Hatch End High School recognises that students will learn best in a safe and calm community that is free from disruption and in which education is the primary focus. It recognises that all students have the right to study and work in conditions which are free from undue anxiety, stress and fear and that all students should be treated fairly and consistently. Hatch End High School aims to create an inclusive environment where students can openly discuss bullying issues without fear of further bullying or discrimination. This policy sits within the school Behaviour Policy and supports the values of promoting equality and ensuring safeguarding for all members of the school community.
