From the e-Activity, analyze what has changed over the past several decades and what has stayed the same in leadership within organizations. Argue a position as to whether or not the meaning of leadership has changed significantly
Leadership is an important function of management which helps to maximize efficiency. I personally agree with Ms. Jacinta G. Gauda because we are in a world where an issue with trust, pace of change and globalization. Trust is key factor of leadership. Leaders often talk about having trust, rather than building trust. Trust is something that must be earned. Building trust in an organization’s leadership requires a personal effort on the part of the leaders themselves. . The pace of change in our world is speeding up to the point where it threatens must of our leaders.   She then mentions that today’s leaders must be personally authentic.   Authenticity is definitely a key to leadership. We must believe that a leader’s word can be trusted, that they’ll do what they say, that they’re personally excited about the organization, and that they have the knowledge and skill to lead. However, the meaning of leadership has changed but not to a great extent.   Today’s leader must be highly flexible, comfortable with fast-changing environments and capable of utilizing multiple leadership styles.

The contingency thinking approach is a great instrument to become a successful leadership.   It can help leaders to become more effective and precise.   Also, it can help close relationship between workers and leaders develop more easily.
