Roles and responsibilities of a teacher /trainer
Your role as a teacher/trainer is to deliver your subject which engages and actively involves your learners during every session keeping them motivated and wanting to learn more. Being enthusiastic, passionate and taking pride in your work which should all be conveyed to your learners when you are with them. A good first impression will help you establish a positive working relation with your learners .I have listed Roles and responsibilities below.
  * Acting professional at all times
  * Completing attendance records for students
  * Following health and safety requirements
  * Incorporating new tools in academy where possible
  * Maintain confidentiality
  * Attending staff meetings
  * Referring learners when necessary
  * Participate in examination arrangement
  * Training and assessing learners (NVQ criteria)
  * Enable learners to realise their career potential
  * Prepare and deliver effective teaching
  * Delivering learners portfolios to agreed standards
  * Maintains documentation of learners progress
  * Building and developing relationships with employers
  * Assess every student fairly (all the same)
  * None judgemental
  * Identifying the students learning styles and individual needs.
