Four main points that would be included in a contract of employment are:
1. Job Title – the title of the job that the person is employed to do.
2. Duties & Responsibilities – this is what is expected of the employee in their job role.
3. Hours of work- This the total amount of hours the employee is contracted to.
4. Holiday entitlement – This is what the employee is allowed by means of paid holiday leave each year.

There are a number of places where a person can find information on employment rights and responsibilities for example:

2. Trade Union Representatives
3. Books and documents held within the organisations (e.g. Employee handbooks)

External sources
1. Citizens Advice Bureau
2. Legal Professionals
3. ACAS
